The Department of Business and Economics guides and mentors its students to build the knowledge and skills they will need to become the next generation of entrepreneurs and community leaders of economic prosperity.
Students who major in accounting, business administration, or economics will learn the foundational and intermediate principles of their major discipline and be prepared for related entry-level jobs in business or similar fields.
UVA Wise offers a degree program in which graduates will receive either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration. The degree designation (BA or BS) awarded depends on the program of study students choose to pursue.
