There is no limit on the number of books that any library patron can borrow at one time.
There is one copier on the 4th floor of the Library and one copier on the 1st floor of the Library. Copies are $0.10 each, the copier uses cash/coins only. Students cannot use CavsCard.
The Library has two microfilm reader/printers located on the first floor in the multi-media lab.
There are desktop computers in the Library located on the fourth floor and fifth floor of the Library. Students, faculty and community users are welcome to use the computers as long as they have a UVa-Wise computing ID.
All of the Library's desk top computers print to a print station. Print stations are located on both the fourth and second floors.
If you exhaust your printing balance, print cards are available at the campus bookstore. They can be purchased in $5.00 increments. Your printing card will have a number on it. You can log into your print account after signing into a campus computer and then apply that number to your account. If you have any problems, feel free to ask someone at the Service Desk for help.
There is a fax machine available, please ask at the Service Desk for assistance.
As long as you are a student, faculty or staff you can access the UVA libraries databases from home. In order to do that, just click on the database or product that you want to search, and a box will pop up asking for your ID and password. That is the same as your UVAWise email and password.
